Finally......pulling pulled up!!!

After almost a month, today i was able to pull my cylindrical shaped pot to the desired height..... it requires lots of strength, the sectret to raise it high is to play with  hard clay. And hold your breath till you complete pulling.Check this out.....I could not believe that I have made this till I clicked it.

my recent work....

I have made two Beer Mugs, learnt the art of making the handles for the same. Also did the geometric designing on them using red ENGOVE......the design came out well, the final result will be after applying trasparent glaze on it which will happen by end of this week. Quite excited to see the final output.

To give my creative tastebuds some respite ...I also worked on the OIL LAMP....the entire pocess of making them was quite interesting.... lets see how it comes out after glazing.

3rd March my First Day at Sanskriti Delhi Blue pottery........A journey

An artistic journey started today...... with the inspiration of very close ones who know me in and out.....Pooja and Manisha my best buddies and with the support of Ahanjit my better half .They pushed me to explore THE CREATIVE side of me and that's how I am at Sanskriti .......... indulging myself into Pottery.

Today ,my first step to explore the creativity, my introduction to clay was very  fascinating, very satisfying indeed..... The plush green surroundings and the drops of rain with little winter still around....the experience was awesome.....soothing and stress free .Something never experienced before.

Though I was very confident that I will be able to learn the techniques of Pottery making ,there were moments making me little nervous. But once I started working on  the magic wheel , all the worries vanished and the magic .......of playing with the Clay started !!!
